Which invoices are overdue right now?

Propel · search_invoices · search_payments

Two are overdue, A$6,380 in total. Harbour & Co owes A$4,180 on INV-0212, due 9 days ago: their card was declined, so it's worth a call. Northside Physio owes A$2,200 on INV-0207, due 3 days ago, and it's set to retry tomorrow.

How did recurring revenue this quarter compare to last?

Propel · get_revenue · search_proposals

Recurring revenue collected this quarter is A$48,600, up from A$41,250 last quarter, an 18% lift. Most of it came from the three retainers accepted in July. Projected recurring for next quarter is A$52,900.

Make a proposal for Bayside Dental from our SEO retainer template and send it to them.

Propel · search_clients · create_proposal · send_proposal

Done. I created proposal #1042 for Bayside Dental from the SEO Retainer template (A$2,400 a month) and sent it to Sarah Mitchell. She'll save a payment method when she accepts, and the first invoice will charge automatically.

Billing software you can talk to.

Most billing tools were built for clicking. To find out who hasn't paid, you log in, find the report, filter it and export a CSV.

Propel was built to be asked. The answer takes one sentence, and the follow-up (chase them, send the proposal, set up the retainer) takes one more.

Questions

About AI and MCP.

Can I use Propel with Claude or other AI assistants?
Yes. Claude can read your proposals, invoices, payments and revenue, and act on them: create a client, send a proposal, request a card or set up billing. Setup takes two minutes and needs no code. See how it works.
What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that connects AI assistants to the software you use. It's how Claude gets secure access to your Propel account, so its answers come from your real data.
Is it safe to connect Propel to an AI assistant?
Yes. You sign in and approve access, so no password or API key is shared. The assistant works within your Propel permissions, only ever sees a card's brand and last four digits, and asks before it sends anything to a client.
Which AI assistants work with Propel?
Claude, and other assistants that support MCP. In Claude, add Propel as a custom connector and sign in. See the setup steps.
